《世说新语》中的桓温形象

桓温为东晋时期的权臣，《世说新语》有关他的故事近百条，虽然分散于各门之中，却颇能窥探桓温的形象特点。从对桓温的材料取舍安排上，书中明显流露出对桓温的欣赏，编者要塑造他仍然是一个名士形象。为此，全书肯定他身上的魏晋风度，并且淡化了其逆臣之举。

In ShishuoXinyu, there are nearly one hundred articles about Huanwen, a powerful Minister in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. Although the articles were dispersed in different schools, we can also learn Huanwen＇s image characteristics from them. From the selection of materials about Huanwen, the editor of the book had appreciation to Huanwen and wanted to mould him a celebrity . So, his Wei-Jin demeanor was affirmed and his rebellious action was desalinated in the book.
