外资银行进入对我国银行业的影响——与金融发展水平和银行业竞争程度有关吗

外资银行进入的积极效应发挥是否随金融环境和银行业市场结构的变化而变化呢?文章运用我国14家银行1995~2006年的面板数据就此问题进行实证分析,结果发现,外资银行的进入发挥了一定程度的"市场竞争效应"和"溢出效应",但二者都比较微弱,而"金融稳定效应"还有待进一步的观察。引进含有交互项的模型的实证结果表明:随着我国金融发展水平和银行业竞争程度的不断提高,外资银行进入的"竞争效应"、"溢出效应"和"金融稳定效应"将得到更好的发挥。

Influence of Foreign Banks to Chinese Banking Industry——Whether There is Relationship between the Development Level of Finance and Competition Level of Banking Industry

Using cross section time series data of 14 banks in 1995-2006 years, this paper examine the impact of foreign bank entrance over our country banking efficiency.Empirical result implies that foreign bank entrance has faint "market competition effects"and "spill-over effect ","finance stabilization effect "is needed to investigate in future.Empirical results of models with interactive terms show that: with the level of domestic financial development and bank market concentration improvement,foreign banks will play a better "market competition effect","spill-over effect" and "finance stabilization effect".
