Comment on Relevant Theories of Government Regulation

The paper reviews relevant theories of government regulation, which includes public interests approach, capture approach and interest groups approach in regulation economics,other schools of economics such as the theory of public choice, the national theory in the new institution economics and the theories of countervailing power. On this basis, the paper induces the theoretical basis and implications for government to make regulatory policy. In addition, by analyzing the necessity of government regulation from the angle of law and sociology, different perspectives from other subjects for reasonability of regulation are provided.
