| 摘 要： | 生产力的发展促成了湖南城市的产生及早期城市空间分布体系的形成。湖南地区古代城市体系的空间结构呈现出沿江河分布的特点；近代铁路公路的快速发展打破了原有的空间分布规律；目前的区域开发政策和信息高速公路建设正在影响其既定的空间分布。针对其现状特征，积极推进以交通网络为载体的城市体系空间结构一体化布局，拟用“一二三四五六”的开发模式。
