| 摘 要： | ＂通识教育＂是英文＂generaleducation＂的译名,也有学者把它译为＂普通教育＂＂、一般教育＂＂、通才教育＂等。自19世纪初美国博德学院（BowdoinCollege的帕卡德（A.S.parkard）教授第一次将它与大学教育联系起来之后,越来越多的人热衷于对它进行研究和讨论。笔者认为,在大学教育中担当普法重任的《法学通论》课程归于通识教育体系中应是＂通识教育＂题中之意。

| Abstract: | ＂Liberal education is also known as ＂general education＂,＂common education＂ and ＂education for genius＂and so on.Early in the 19th century,Professor A.S.Parkard from U.S.Bowdoin College first linked liberal with the University education,more and more people are interested in its study and discussion.The author holds that the course General Theory of Law plays a significant role in spreading law in the University and accords with the meaning of general education. |
