| Abstract: | The natural frequency equation for a simple supported and orthotropic thick plate is deduced by means of matrix analysis and three dimensional dynamics theory discarding the assumption with relation to displacement and stress of thin plate theory. The results show that the method is simple and reliable. Otherwise, the method is used to carry out the dynamic analysis for orthotropic laminated plates. |
