王国维与蔡元培美育思想来源比较研究

从比较研究的角度出发,对王国维和蔡元培的美育思想来源作一番探究性的工作。王国维在近代中国首倡美育,是近代中国美育理论的创始人。蔡元培率先实行美育,毕生提倡,亲身实践,普及美育理论,最终确立起美育的重要地位。王国维和蔡元培的美学观都以中西方传统哲学美学为基础,同时他们的美育思想都闪耀着人文主义的光芒;但二者对美育的阐释又有很大的区别,对美育建立的具体作用也不尽相同。他们二人的美育观对当代美育发展具有启示作用。

A Comparative Study on Wang Guowei's and Cai Yuanpei's Source of Aesthetic Education Thoughts

From the perspective of comparative study,this paper studies on Wang Guowei's and Cai Yuanpei' s source of aesthetic education thoughts.Wang Guowei first initiated aesthetic education in Modern China.He is also the founder of the theory of modern Chinese aesthetic education.Cai Yuanpei took the lead in implementing the aesthet- ic education and advocated all his life the personal practice of aesthetic education and popularization of aesthetic theo- ry,and eventually established the important position of aesthetic education.Wang Guowei's and Cai Yuanpei's aes- thetics are based on traditional Chinese and Western aesthetic philosophy.At the same time,their aesthetics both shine with humanism.However,they have vastly different interpretations of aesthetic education and the specific role of each other is not exactly the same.Their thoughts give inspirations to modern development of aesthetic education.
