Reflection on the future regional space structure of Chongqing municipality

Based on the division of Chongqing's three economic regions and the development priority, the possibility of future development and long-term development requirements, this article proposes that the department concerned should follow the principle of "two circles and two zones" (four economic regions in all ). The four regions are new metropolitan development region, sub-development economic circle around the metropolis (or Chongqing's west economic region), Chongqing's southeast economic region and Chongqing's northeast region.
