Rules of origin are the basis on such aspects as the practices of most - favored treatment; the rules of mutual benefit; the rules of custom duties cut; the rules of canceling quantity restriction generally; the measures on safeguard and government purchase. Whether the rules of origin can be taken advantage of properly or not would influence the condition of foreign trade for one country. China has gained great achievements after WTO entry, but some passive effects about the rules of origin turned up accordingly to be faced. This article begins with the function of rules of origin in international trade activity and analyses its influences on our foreign trade with counter measure suggested.
