| 摘 要： | 城市旅游是当代旅游活动的重要组成部分。西部地区要实现旅游产业的跨越式发展，必须将景区开发和城市建设结合起来，必须加快发展城市旅游。西部地区加快发展城市旅游不仅具有客观必然性，而且具有现实可能性。加快发展西部地区城市旅游必须以建设特色城市为出发点，优先发展旅游中心城市，加强区域内外城市间的旅游合作。
