浅议我国中央银行跨行政区设置分行

中央银行的分支机构是总行的派出机构，它们严格接受中央银行总行的领导，对于有效地推行总行制定的各项方针政策，实现宏观经济管理等方面都发挥着重要作用。因此，世界各国普遍重视分支机构的设置。１９９８年１１月，国务院对中国人民银行管理体制实行改革，撤销省级分行、跨省（自治区、直辖市）设置９家分行，文章就中国人民银行分支机构设置的类型、分支机构的地位、跨行政区设置分行的必要性以及要注意的几个方面等问题进行初步探讨

A superfcial comment on setting up trans－administrative－area branches of the central bank in China

Th e branches of the central bank are the agencies of the head office. They are str ictly led by the head office of the central bank and play an inportant role in e xecuting effectually all the principles and policies formulated by the head offi ce and in realizing macroeconomic management.So ,all countries in the world pay close attention to the setting up of its branches.In November 1998,the State Cou ncil practiced reform in the management system of the Peoples Bank of China.That was to remove the branches at provincial level and set up nine branches of the bank across provinces (autonomousregions,municipalities).In the article,the auth or tried to explore and discuss preliminarily the questions about the type and s tatus of branches of the People's Bank of China as well as the essentiality of s etting up branch banks in different administrative areas and several aspects tha t should be paid attention.
