北京建设国际活动聚集之都的现状及推进对策

State and promotion measures for Beijing to build gathering city of international activities

Combining with lexical interpretation,"international activities" are defined as the conferences,exhibitions,festivals and celebrations,which are held by at least two countries or more representatives,business organizations,government institutions with a certain influence on affairs of mutual interest,regular or irregular purpose,theme,plan and so on.At present,there are following deficiencies in the international activities held by Beijing: few international conferences and exhibitions,few large-scale exhibitions, deficiency in venue construction for international activities,and lack of Beijing features.This article argues that Beijing should use the opportunities of capital advantages and the post-Olympic era chances to constantly optimize the industrial structure and the more mature service industry,and to actively accelerate the buildings of the gathering city of international activities so as to lay the foundation for the smooth realization of the goal of building the world city of Beijing city.
