A New Adventure for Tan Xuguang

On September 3rd,a construction machinery industry analyst made a series of phone calls to several construction machinery enterprises to ask them their opinion of the strategic cooperation agreement between Shandong Heavy Industry Group’s subsidiary Weichai Power and German forklift maker Kion Group. That same day the agreement between the two sides was signed in Jinnan, Shandong Province.According to a statement released by Weichai Power(000338. SZ) on September 1st,Weichai will invest 738 million euros for a 25%stake in Kion and a 70%stake in Kion’s Linde Hydraulics. This was a crowning achievement satisfying Tan Xuguang’s ambitions and strategy for his company within the industry.
