| Abstract: | How to make metropolis beyond land resources during the process of urbanization? The case of London provides an alternative strategy based on space-event to take full use of the exiting urban spaces to curate cultural activities,which contributes to cultivating urban spirit.The essay points out that the shaping of neighbourhood as well as the production of physical spaces could be considered for Chinese cities. |
