Application of whitening function and grey correlation degree in supplier selection

With the change from traditional purchasing to supply chain purchasing, enterprises choosing the suitable supplier as partners is essential. This paper discusses the classification of the suppliers firstly, then in order to select optimizedly, it constructs evaluation indexes and introduces whitening function and grey correlation degree according to selection of strategic partner. The results show that the global optimal supplier can be identified according to grey correlation degree comprehensive evaluation method.
