Analysis of the Operation of the Logistics Strategy in the Major Sports Events - Taking Guangzhou 2010 Asian Games as a Case

Major sports events will be accompanied by a large number of logistics activities, 2010 Asian Games held in Guangzhou has brought a major challenge for Guangzhou＇s logistics system, logistics facilities, logistics technology and logistics organization and management. This paper analysed the deficiencies and defects of 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games logistics through referring relative research literature on major sports events logistics and combining with the characteristics of itself logistics system, basides the successful holding of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games sports logistics experience, roposing a number of solution strategies for the forthcoming Asian Games in Guzngzhou logistics problems.
