EOQ Model Adjustment and Application Considering Transportation Forms Option

Traditional inventory management includes the two fundamental questions： the number of goods ordering from suppliers and the time point of ordering determination.However,in the current increasing competition business environment,inventory problems become more complex,involving inventory location,transportation forms option,etc.This inventory is a challenge to policy makers.Quantitative ordering method EOQ has been widely used to prove that it is an effective inventory management tool.In this text,the basic EOQ model is adjusted according to different forms option and applied,this way of problem-solving ideas can provide logistics managers some reference to make decisions.
