An Analysis of "Iron Curtain Speech" from the Perspective of Realism

On March 5, 1946, during his visit to the United States former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill made a speech entitled The Sinews of Peace, which is also known as Iron Curtain Speech. Iron Curtain Speech has an important documentary value in the history after World War Ⅱ, and is considered a prelude to the start of Cold War. The main ideas of this speech to some extent fit the realistic perspective of international relations theory.
