融合侨乡文化特色 推进地方性高校助学工作——以江门五邑大学为例

地方高校的发展离不开当地政府和人民的大力支持,作为由华侨和各界爱心人士捐建而成的高校,五邑大学在学生培养方面更是融合了侨乡特色,弘扬慈善文化,尤其体现在贫困大学生资助工作当中。文章结合侨乡慈善文化的特点,详细介绍该校对贫困生开展的特色助学工作,并紧抓受助学生的诚信教育、感恩教育,将此项工作的开展提升为该校大学生思想政治教育的一个有效载体,进一步阐释融合了地方特色文化的教育形式对地方性高校育人功能的促进作用。

Integrating Characteristics of Overseas Chinese Hometown Culture to Promote Student-aiding Work of Local Universities: Taking Wuyi University in Jiangmen for Example

The development of local university is inseparable from the support of local government and the people,Wuyi University established by contribution of overseas Chinese and all walks of life integrates characteristics of overseas Chinese hometown to carry forward the charity culture,especially embodied in funding the students.This paper introduces the Wuyi University carries out characteristic student-aiding,and focuses on aidreceiving students’ faith education and gratitude education.The student-aiding work is an effective carrier for promoting the college students’ ideological and political education.This paper further illustrates the promotion effect of educational form with local characteristics of culture on function of educating people for local universities.
