| 摘 要： | 在科技迅猛发展的二十一世纪,社会对高水平科技英语翻译人才的需求缺口依然很大。本文对《科技英语翻译实用教程》进行了简要评析,指出重视科技英语翻译教材的建设,重视翻译教学,将有利于解决高校科技翻译人才培养与社会市场实际需求脱节的现实矛盾。

| Abstract: | In the twenty-first century with the rapid development of science and technology, a great number of high-level translators for science and technology are still in urgent need. In this paper, English-Chinese Translation for Science and Technology： A Practical Approach is briefly reviewed. It is pointed out that to handle the conflicts between the cultivation of translators in the university education and the actual needs of the translation market, much attention should be paid to the development of textbooks on translation for science and technology and to translation teaching. |
