摘    要:本文选取一家具有50多年发展历程的转制医院RQ医院为研究对象,通过案例研究的方法,对其在公立医院和股份制医院两个不同发展阶段的社会责任取向、社会责任行为和持续经营的情况进行了对比研究。研究发现:社会责任取向分为义取向和利取向两种,医院的义(利)取向越高,社会责任行为越高(低);义利平衡的社会责任取向有利于持续经营,社会责任取向和社会责任行为水平过低或过高均不利于组织的持续经营;与组织自身特征相适应的社会责任行为对持续经营有正向影响。因此本文认为组织应当保持一个适合于自身发展阶段和特征的社会责任取向水平,并选择相应的社会责任战略,唯如此,组织方能持续经营。

Abstract:This paper selects a hospital with a history of more than fifty years, named RQ Hospi- tal, as the research object,and uses the case study method to compare the levels of its social re- sponsibility orientation, social responsibility behavior and sustainable management in the two dif- ferent development stages, public hospital and joint-stock hospital. The study finds that: The so- cial responsibility orientation is categorized into obligation and profit, and the higher obligation (profit) is, the higher (lower) social responsibility behavior level is; the social responsibility ori- entation with balanced obligation and profit is beneficial to sustainable operation, and neither ex- cessively low nor high levels of social responsibility orientation and social responsibility behavior are conducive to the sustainable operation of an organization; social responsibility behavior that matches an organization's own characteristics has a positive effect on continuing operations. Therefore, this paper suggests that organizations should maintain a social responsibility orientation level that suits their development stage and their own characteristics, and select appropriate social responsibility strategies. Only in this way can organizations continue their operations.
