The Applications of the HDRM to Syntectite Roadbed Survey for Expressways

With the introduction to the principle, features and applications of the HDRM, the article analyzes the HDRM based on electrostatic field and points to the irregular geographical features of soil cave, solution cavity and fanltage. Examin-ing the documents of the HDRM for a certain expressway, the article also outlines the misdistribution of the earth current model with ways to improve survey capacities and to improve precision. The practices and examples have proved the effec-tiveness of these measures and shown the importance and merits of the HDRM.
