“势”或“时势”：一个重审现代与时间观之关系的概念

势或时势的概念曾经是中国学术中的重要概念。本文介绍了三个不多见的时势概念的现代重构个案，它们分属文史哲三个领域，而又相互关联。借助海德格尔和德里达对欧洲形而上学传统的批判，本文旨在展示德意志观念论巨大影响之下的部分现代中国思想是如何被形而上学地重构，从而成为去历史化的哲学。

"Shi" or Tendency, A Re-examination of the Relationship between Modernity and Conception of Time

The Chinese concept of shi （势）, which means momentum or tendency, used to be a key philosophical concept in traditional Chinese scholarship. This paper studies three relatively unnoticed cases of modern reconstruction of the concept of shi in the three interrelated fields of philosophy, history, and literature. Drawing on the criticisms of the Western metaphys- ical tradition by Heidegger and Derrida, this paper aims to demonstrate how a part of modern Chinese philosophy has fallen under the strong influences of German Idealism and has thus been metaphysically transformed into a ＂a-historical＂ kind of philosophy.
