Empirical Study on Impact of Proactive Personality on Individual Learning Capability

The research on antecedents of individual learning is important but insufficient.This research examines the relationship among proactive personality,job involvement,feedback seeking and individual learning capability.The results based on 236 samples verify hypothesis:employee's proactive personality has positive effects on employee's individual learning capability;employee's proactive personality has positive effects on employees' job involvement and feedback seeking;employee's job involvement has positive effects on employee's individual learning capability,and the relationship between proactive personality and individual learning capability is mediated by employee's job involvement;employee's feedback-seeking has positive effects on employee's individual learning capability,and the relationship between proactive personality and individual learning capability is mediated by employee's feedback-seeking.It finds an important antecedent for individual learning improvement in organization and discusses its mechanism.
