On the Development of Recreation Tourism around Taihu Lake in Suzhou

As a famous tourism city of China, Suzhou's development of recreation tourism, which influences its stable and healthy development in the future is not balanced. After some theories about recreation tourism having been introduced, this paper discussed all advantageous and disadvantageous conditions that Suzhou owns when it comes to developing the recreation tourism around Taihu Lake. And then the market positioning, principles, thoughts, aims, mode, as well as some strategies about developing Suzhou's recreation tourism are brought forward.
