| 摘 要： | 经济发展是西部大开发的根本,而西部地区生态环境建设的好坏将直接影响和决定着西部大开发和西部地区经济发展的速度和成果。文章论述了我国西部大开发与西部经济发展的必要性和紧迫性,西部地区生态环境建设的重要性和必要性。论证了西部地区的经济活动与生态环境建设之间互相促进、互相依存、互相制约、互相矛盾而又统一的关系,指出发展生态经济是西部地区经济发展的客观要求和必由之路。
