建设“绿色大学”是时代赋予的责任和使命。作为我国高等教育的新生力量，独立学院同样肩负着绿色理念的传播、绿色人才的培养、绿色科技的创新与服务的使命。从我国高等教育的新使命、绿色大学的建设背景出发，重点探讨了绿色学院建设面临的机遇与挑战，并根据独立学院自身的特色，系统地阐述了当前我国绿色独立学院发展战略面临的主要任务。

Following the Way of Green College Development---The Choice of the Independent College Development Strategy

It is the responsibility and mission to construct the green university of higher education in this era. As a fresh blood of higher education in our country, the independent colleges also shoulder the mission to spread the conception of green, cultivate green talents, and service to the innovation of green technology. In this article, within the background of new mission of higher education in China, we have discussed the opportunities and challenges which the construction of green independent colleges faced. According to the independent college’ s own features, we put forward the development strategy and main task of independent colleges in our country to construct the green colleges.
