苏格拉底“产婆术”在研究生口语教学中的运用

The Application of Socrates' "Elicitation Teaching Theory" to Postgraduates Spoken English Teaching

Socratic Method,or the ＂elicitation teaching theory＂,was originated by Socrates,a renowned philosopher and educator in ancient Greek.It has been constantly bestowed with enriched new meanings by contemporary educators in their modern teaching practice.The paper probes into the feasibility of applying Socratic Method to teach spoken English to postgraduates and ways to use it appropriately to achieve its true innovation.
