The Pricing & Quality of Academic Journals and Academic Evaluation Mechanism

The paper discussed academic journals,for achieving the academic exchange functions,on how to price and control quality of papers.We found that charging the authors is not the cause of poor academic journals＇ quality,and the existing academic evaluation mechanisms is the key that affect the academic journal pricing and controlling quality.Unscientific academic evaluation mechanism resulted in many for-profit journals＇ arbitrary charging,low quality and loss of readers,while controlling quality journals set too high quality standard that resulted in rejecting many good articles.So establishment of a scientific and reasonable academic evaluation mechanism is necessary condition for academic journals in China toward the right track.
