A Concise Road map to Case Study Research

Case study research is an important method of qualitative research methods in the social sciences. Based on a simple meta analysis on the existing literature,the article briefly summarizes the definition of case study research and its characteristics,application conditions, research design processes and other important issues, so as to improve the standardized and scientific. The operation process of case study method is taken as an example in the field of domestic public management. we compare single case and multiple case study to analysis and generalize the case study operational approach under different number of cases, providing reference for the researchers.
