隐喻能力的培养与大学英语教学

摘    要:隐喻能力是学生熟练使用英语的标志。在大学英语教学中重视学生隐喻能力的培养,强调英语教学中隐喻能力的培养应从隐喻思维能力的培养、隐喻与写作教学、阅读教学、文化教学及翻译教学等方面着手,引领学生识别汉英两种语言在认知方式上的异同,将提高英语学习者运用语言的综合能力。

Abstract:Metaphoric competence is an important indication of the mastery of English.The article emphasizes the cultivation of metaphoric competence in English teaching from the metaphoric thinking ability training,metaphor and writing teaching,metaphor and reading teaching,metaphor and cultural teaching,metaphor and translation teaching,etc.Teachers help the students identify the similarities and differences between English and Chinese in cognitive style.The purpose is to improve students' English comprehensive ability.
