论翻译中的词意缺省现象

不同的文化环境孕育了不同的语言,造就了不同的语言特征,不同的语言特征反映着不同的文化环境,因此,在某种程度上,不同语言间的交流便是不同文化间的交流。语言与文化的密切关系注定了翻译与文化的密切关系。在不同语言交流过程中,翻译承担着语言沟通和文化交互的桥梁作用。不同文化间存在的形式和内容的差异引发了跨文化交际中普遍出现的词意缺省现象。这种词意的缺省需要语言翻译来进行弥合。语言翻译在弥合过程中发挥着重要的作用。由于词意缺省的处理对译者的翻译能力要求较高,在处理词意缺省时,译者应把握原作者的意图,力求顺应对语境结构,采取相应的方法妥善处理,让读者跨越缺憾感受到原文的美。

The Phenomenon of Lexical Default in Translation

Language is the product of culture and reflects culture.Different languages are rooted from different history and culture.The intimacy between languages and cultures decides that communication among different languages needs the help of translation.Therefore,translation has close relationship with culture.Translation is the bondages for language exchange and culture mixing.The differences in languages forms and contents cause lexical default which should be made up by translation.The lexical default requires high translation ability.In order to cope with lexical default,translators,by musing appropriate method,should grasp author＇s original meaning and obey the context structure so that readers can sense the beauty of the original books.
