Curative Effects of Xiyanping Injection Combined with Antibacterial Drugs and Antibacterial Drugs in the Treatment of Acute Upper Respiratory Tract Infection in Children

Abstract:Objective To explore the effects of single antibacterial drugs and Xiyanping Injection combined with antibacterial drugs on the clinical efficacy of acute upper respiratory tract infections in children. Methods A total of 160 children with acute upper respiratory tract infection admitted to Shenyang Children’s Hospital were selected as the research objects and were randomly divided into a combination group and an antibacterial drug group, with 80 cases in each group. The antibacterial group was treated with antibacterial drugs only, and the combination group was treated with Xiyanping Injection combined with antibacterial drugs, and the therapeutic effects of the 2 groups were compared. Results After treatment, the interleukin-8, interleukin-1, and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein of the 2 groups of children were significantly reduced, and the combination group was significantly lower than the antibacterial group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the effective rate of the combination group treatment was significantly higher than that of the antibacterial group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the incidence of adverse reactions in the combination group was significantly lower than that of the antibacterial group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion Antimicrobial treatment for children with acute upper respiratory tract infections in children, together with Xiyanping injection, can effectively improve the treatment effect.
