Abstract:Retail industry is a very changeable, competitive field. To lead successful business, a retailer must determine the market position of its own, and decide which location will best serve the market segment. Both market position and geographical location in retailing are discussed in the paper. And relationship between them is presented also. We hope these will be of benefit to retailers and government in China.
