区域经济发展中的形象塑造:以山西省为例

文章对区域形象塑造的必要性进行了分析,指出在注意力经济的时代背景下,区域形象塑造是欠发达地区实现跨越式发展的重要途径。在此基础上,对区域形象的概念和特点进行了辨析,从客观性与主观性、整体性与片面性、稳定性与可变性、现势性与前瞻性四个方面分析了区域形象塑造中需要注意的几个问题。以山西省为案例,论证了区域形象塑造在区域经济发展中的重要作用,指出山西省的区域形象经历了一个华夏文明的摇篮(古代)——商业金融中心(近代)——能源重化工基地(现代)——暴发户的乐土(未来可能)的历史嬗变过程,山西省要摆脱当前的形象危机,破解“资源的诅咒”,摆脱路径依赖,实现区域经济的持续发展,必须抛弃“能源重化工基地”的现有形象,塑造“节约山西”的区域新形象。

ON IMAGE-BUILDING IN REGIONAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT:A CASE STUDY OF SHANXI PROVINCE

This paper analyzes the necessity of regional image-building and points out regional image-building is an important approach to realizing great-leap-forward development under the background of the attention economy.And then,this paper differentiates and analyses some concepts and characteristics about regional image,such as objectivity or subjectivity,synthesis or one-sidedness,heredity or variation and actuality or foresight,and so on.Whereafter,taking Shanxi Province as an example,the paper demonstrates the important function of regional image-building in regional economy development.In our view,the evolution of Shanxi's image includes four stages: Shanxi's image was the Cradle of the Chinese Nation(in antiquity),the Center of Trade and Finance of China(in modern times),the Base of Energy & Heavy Industry(nowadays) and the Eden of Arrivistes(the future) respectively.To pass the current crisis of image and realize sustainable development of regional economy,some countermeasures,which include getting rid of the curse of resources and path dependence,discarding the current image of the Base of Energy & Heavy Industry and set up a new image of Economical Shanxi province,etc.should be carried out.
