Study on the Countermeasures for Improving the protection of Coastal Wetland in Fu’an City

This paper introduced the ecological characteristics,ecological functions and existing problems of the coastal wetland in Fu’an City. In addition,it put forward some suggestions on how to protect and utilize the coastal wetland in Fu’an City,such as establishing the information management system and monitoring system of the coastal wetland,improving the wetland management organization,strengthening the coordination mechanism of departments,improving the legal system of wetland protection and refining the awareness of public participation in wetland protection.
