| 摘 要： | 通过具体的数据资料，对西部地区城市分布进行分析，得出如下结论：与东、中部相比，西部地区城市数量少、密度小；位序－规模分布呈现为畸形的金字塔；西部地区内部各省区的城市规模分布也有很大的差异。

| Abstract: | The study in this paper is made on city-size distribution of cities in the western area, using the primitive law and the rank-scale law. The following conclusions are drawn; the number of western cities and their density is 0.23 cities per kilometre; the rank-scale of cities appears lopsided pyramid-shape and big cities need developing; city-size distribution of each province has its own character. |
