宋代牡丹品种和数目研究之三

我国现存7种宋代牡丹谱录中所记载的牡丹品种，经综合整理统计其数目有191个（陈平平，1999）。此外，一些宋人著作中还记载有若干上述诸谱录中未曾收入的宋代牡丹品种，经综合整理统计、较可靠者其数目有55个。两项合计宋代牡丹品种数目有246个。这一数字更加充分的证实我国是牡丹栽培和育种的古老中心。

A Third Study on Varieties of Peony and Their Number in the Song Dynasty

The Varieties of peony noted in China's seven existing books on peony written in the Song Dynasty are 191 in number according to the statistics made through integrating and sorting out the information(by Chen Pingping in 1999),Besides,Some Works written by the people in the Song Dynasty recorded a number of varieties of peony cultivated in the Song Dynasty which were not included in the above-mentioned books,Among them 55 are deemed relatively more credible.As a result of summation of these two figures,the varieties of peony available in the Song Dynasty were as many as 246.This number better demonstrates that china was an ancient centre for cultivation and breeding of peony.
