Conservation of Prime Farmland and Control of Collapse by Mining Activities

The purpose of this paper is to explore the relationship between collapse by mining activities and conservation of prime farmland and put forward concrete measures regarding prime farmland conservation in mining areas. Method of comprehensive analysis was employed. The results show that the collapse by mining activities has impacts on water and land environment and further on prime farmland conservation. It is concluded that such measures as law enforcement and application of new techniques shall be taken to control collapse and to conserve prime farmland.
