Abstract:The reverse logistics is a new aspect of logistics sector,which emphasizes not only the recycle of wastes but also the realization of the goals as resources saving,environment protection and competence enhancement.To deal with optimal design problem of remanufacturing reverse logistics network,a multi-objective optimization model for designing such a network was established based on mixed integer programming approach,considering the uncertainty of the returned quantities of used products.One objective of the model was to minimize the total cost of construction,and the other was to minimize the disutility to people.According to the model,the numbers and locations of collection centers and inspection centers,and the allocation of the corresponding goods flows in the network can be decided.The algorithm for solving the model using the method of chance constrained programming was proposed.Finally,the validity of the model was illustrated by a numerical example.
