工商银行国际化发展研究

随着经济一体化和金融全球化的不断深入,银行国际化已逐渐成为一种不可逆转的趋势.股改上市后的中国工商银行站在了崭新的历史起点,全面推进国际化经营,构建国际一流现代金融企业将成为未来面临的主要挑战和任务之一.本文在梳理评析银行国际化理论,比较研究花旗、汇丰银行国际化发展战略和成功经验共性因素的基础上,提出工商银行由本土领先银行发展成为国际一流大银行的国际化发展战略的远景目标、中长期目标和中期目标,特别强调要发挥人民币优势,实现品牌境外延伸;创新海外机构网络布局,实现业务转型,铸造核心竞争力等措施.

Internationalized Development of ICBC

With the deepening of economic integration and financial globalization,banking internalization has become an irreversible trend.ICBC which has completed joint-stock reform and listing finds herself at a brand-new historic starting point.It will be a major challenge and task for ICBC to internationalize operations as a world first-class financial institute.In this paper,banking internationalization theory is reviewed and analyzed and a comparison is made between Citibank and HSBC in terms of development strategy and common experience.On this basis,it comes up with long-term,and mid-term objectives that will turn ICBC from a local leader into a world top bank,stressing that measures should be taken to take advantage of RMB to expand the brand abroad and to innovate overseas network distribution to realize business transformation and strengthen core competitiveness.
