| Abstract: | There are a large number of low-income groups living in China′s high disaster risk area.Catastrophe micro-insurance is an effective way to avoid leading to deeper cycle of poverty.By analyzing and comparing the experiences of mandatory catastrophe micro-credit,and the particular catastrophe micro-insurance compensation plan in the catastrophe risk management system,China Index-based Catastrophe Micro-Insurance Fund isrecommended in the paper,and the donations,regional sub-fund,index mechanism,cross-subsidies and the fund′s financial stability is discussed. |
