Study on Development Sequence and Trends of Shanghai “Four Centers”

The construction of Shanghai “Four Centers” is the core component of Shanghai into a modern international metropolis. The paper analyzed the development sequence , present conditions and achievements of Shanghai “Four Centers”, and discussed the logical relation of Shanghai “Four Centers”. The paper put forward some conclusions： the development of Shanghai “Four Centers” makes “Economy center” as the leading objective , and “Finance center” as the core objective; Finance development is to serve for the real economy and to promote the development shipping industry and service trade; Shanghai Free Trade Zone will boost the development of Shanghai “Four Centers”.
