A Study of Strategy of RMB Convertibility in Capital Account

The strategy of "gradual convertibility of RMB" was put forth in the 11th Five-Year Plan, which was passed by the Fifth Session of the 16th National Congress of Communist Party of China. RMB convertibility in capital account will have significant impact on China's economic growth and social development, therefore is critical to China's financial stability and security. It will never be over-emphasized to understand properly and stick to the strategy of "gradual convertibility of RMB" . This strategy requires strategic planning, cautious attitude and careful operation.
