The aims of this paper are first, a search for the key factors that influence bancassurance operation in Taiwan and mainland China; second, explore the weight of each key success (critical) factor (KSF); and third, identify performance gaps typically measured as performance minus KSFs. This study adopts the analytical hierarchy process to construct a framework of KSFs of bancassurance. Then, the importance–performance analysis is applied to identify the performance of each KSF for bancassurance. The findings mean that the strategy maker can identify the weakness and strength of their bancassurance strategy, and allocate their resources accordingly.  相似文献

Whether firms with more alliance experience perform better than those with less and whether the alliance strategy interacts with diversification strategy to shape firm performance are two critical but underexplored questions. To address these queries, this study develops a three‐level sigmoid framework built upon a marginal analysis that contrasts alliance benefits and alliance costs, and considers the moderation of diversification that often closely works with the alliance in shaping firm performance. Empirical results obtained from firms in two alliance‐populated industries support first that the alliance experience‐performance relationship is S‐shaped in that the linkage is negative to alliance novices, positive to alliance experts, and negative again to alliance overusers; and second, that the shape of this sigmoid curve varies systematically between high‐ and low‐diversified firms. Through Canadian publicly traded companies, this study assessed how combining firms' continuous valuations by the market (structural model) with the value given in their financial statements (accounting model) could enhance prediction of a company's probability of default. The hybrid model outperformed other models. Specifically, estimated structural probabilities of default (PDs) contributed significantly to predicting default probabilities when they were included alongside accounting and macroeconomic variables in our hybrid model. These results were obtained with two versions of the structural model: the Merton model (Merton, 1973, 1974) and the default barrier model (Brockman & Turtle, 2003). 依据农产品物流的定义,以及农产品物流具有相对独立性、季节性、地域性及需要加工增值等基本特点,针对我国农产品物流的现状及存在的问题,本文构建了农产品第三方物流服务商评价指标体系,建立了相应的多指标综合评价决策模型,并运用超级决策软件,结合一个实际算例对ANP方法进行了数值计算和验证,对不同方案进行了评估。计算结果表明该模型能够根据第三方物流企业的实际情况,有效地评价与选择物流服务供应商。  相似文献

Premised on the assumption that strategic alliance is a type of competitive action toward rivals, this study explores how a firm uses alliances differently with respect to rivals. I distinguish between two types of alliances that directly involve rivals: alliance with a rival and with a rival's partner. The former and the latter reflect cooperative‐ and competitive‐orientations respectively. Further, I investigate what drives a focal firm to adopt a particular alliance rather than another. The findings indicate that the key consideration explaining different alliance patterns is the resource profiles of focal and rival firms. This study contributes to the literature on competitive dynamics and strategic alliance by suggesting a new approach to integrate interfirm competition and cooperation. Copyright © 2016 ASAC. Identifying risks and prioritizing is important for payment service provider (PSP) companies to get banking projects and gain more market share. However, studies regarding the identification of risks and causal relationships are insufficient in the Iranian PSP industry and the industry is unique because of its characteristics. In this study, 30 experts involved with PSP companies are employed as the research sample. Eleven key risks and Forty-six sub-risks are also identified. Subsequently, the fuzzy decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory technique is applied to determine the effective and affected risks and the severity of their effects on each other. Finally, all risks are ranked. Due to the internal interrelationships of the main risks, the weight of each risk is calculated via the fuzzy analytic network process. As the second-level risks have no significant interrelationships, they are ranked via the fuzzy analytical hierarchy process. Moreover, the best-worst method is used to ensure that the obtained rankings are reliable. This study identifies the risks affecting the loss of banking projects and determines the impacts of these risks on each. A sensitivity analysis is then conducted on the weights of the criteria, and the results are compared.  相似文献

本文以我国沪深两地145家上市公司为样本,对企业纵向战略联盟组建的影响因素进行了分析。结果表明:企业的发展战略、规模水平和企业高级管理者对纵向战略联盟的组建呈显著正相关;在控制住行业类别变量后,研究结果表明不同行业类别对纵向战略联盟组建的影响也存在显著性差异。  相似文献

运用博弈矩阵分析供应链联盟的形成过程,将供应链联盟的形成过程分为寻求联盟阶段和维持联盟两个阶段,同时又将维持联盟阶段的博弈分为联盟双方力量均衡和悬殊两种不同的情况进行讨论。通过对博弈矩阵的分析,得出在力量均衡的博弈下,仅仅运用“残酷策略”并不能保持联盟长期的稳定性,而在力量悬殊的情况下,联盟具有天然的稳定性。  相似文献

品牌联合作为企业间战略联盟的形式之一,在市场竞争日趋激烈的条件下得到更为广泛的应用。本文以以手机行业为例,以品牌管理理论为基础、运用情景实验和结构方程分析法对品牌联合的影响因素及其效应进行了研究。结果表明品牌匹配性为最重要的影响因素;联合双方品牌知名度相对较高一方的品牌知名度为次重要的影响因素;第三影响因素是联合双方原品牌态度较低一方的品牌态度和产品匹配性。  相似文献

Grounded in the resource-based view (RBV) of the firm to competitive advantage, the current study attempts to identify specific resources and capabilities of small ventures by focusing on private hotels and by doing so develops an evaluation framework of marketing strategy in a service industry within its unique conditions. Given the complexity and difficulty of utilizing allocated specific and limited resources with a marketing strategy toward a competitive advantage for private hotels the purpose of the current study is to employ the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) method to select a competitive marketing strategy for private hotels. After reviewing theory and research on competitive advantage in general and in the service industry in particular, the resources and capabilities are identified as managerial capabilities, customer-linking capabilities, market innovation capabilities, human resource assets, and reputational assets. Finally, the findings indicate that the differentiation strategy is the best strategy for private hotels. The study emphasizes the importance of allocating specific and limited resources and capabilities to evaluate and select an appropriate marketing strategy so as to capture a sustainable competitive advantage.  相似文献

Strategic alliance can aid firms to build and sustain their competitive advantages. Firms set up strategic alliance mainly for two purposes: resource acquisition and capability learning. Formal control and social control are two widely adopted control mechanisms to secure the effectiveness of strategic alliance. In this study, we construct a model to analyze the choice of control mechanisms based on alliance motivations and the influence of control mechanisms on alliance performance. Based on a survey of 607 Chinese firms, we find that when resource acquisition is the key motivation behind alliance, formal control should be enhanced. Whereas when capability learning is the main purpose of alliance, social control becomes a better choice. Furthermore, this research also finds that the impact of both formal control and social control on alliance performance are nonlinear. 平衡计分卡被国内外学者普遍认为是一套能比较全面反映经营者绩效增长的绩效评价体系,然而对于经营者平衡记分卡的四个纬度权重的定量研究却很少涉及。运用AHP,通过专家打分构造多个判断矩阵,计算得出群组综合判断矩阵并进行层次单排序,确定了企业经营者平衡记分卡四个纬度的权重,较好地实现了定性与定量的结合,而且通过对群组综合判断矩阵进行一致性检验,提高了权重确定的信度和效度。  相似文献

Little is known of Caribbean people's views on their culture or of their beliefs regarding leadership and motivation. This study reports the results of a Delphi Technique with people in leadership positions and focus groups. Across groups, responses were relatively consistent: ethnicity and culture are described as influenced by religion, and Christianity in particular; African roots and country of origin are important; effective leaders are charismatic, visionary, results oriented, and they motivate others, lead by example, and develop vision and goals. Leaders believe motivation comes from making a difference for others. Nonleaders believe leaders are influenced by financial rewards and self‐fulfilment; nonleaders are motivated primarily by financial rewards. 在基于电子商务的供应链战略联盟绩效评价特性的基础上,利用平衡计分卡及SCPR绩效模型的思想,从客户满意度、供应链业务流程、供应链财务状况、供应链创新与学习能力四个方面,构建了一套系统的供应链战略联盟绩效评价指标体系。建立模糊综合评价因素集、评价等级集、指标的特征值矩阵、隶属关系矩阵、指标层权重,以及模糊矩阵的系统运算,得到模糊综合评价结果,将模糊综合评价的思想和方法引入供应链战略联盟绩效评价领域。  相似文献

This study examines the role of national and organizational culture in alliance management in the context of three prominent joint ventures between India and Japan, which reached diverse alliance outcomes. It uses the case study method as a tool for an initial rich exploratory analysis (Yin 2013) of alliance management capabilities that may later be tested on a larger dataset. The study finds that national and organizational culture is both important factors of alliance management capability. It highlights the specific role of trust, consensus in decision-making, communication and relationship building as key constituents of alliance management capability. This paper thus contributes to an important strand of literature on alliance management in the context of two important Asian players from the developed and emerging markets. Its focus on cultural factors as determinants of alliance management helps to establish a managerial blueprint leading to positive alliance outcomes for such ventures in future and to establish a roadmap for increased interaction between India and Japan.  相似文献
