随着对外开放的不断发展,英文标识语越来越广泛的被运用于在景区的各个角落,在中外交流中发挥着重要的作用。景区英文标识语具有鲜明的标识特征,是沟通信息和文化的桥梁。从旅游景区英文标识语的符号本质出发,研究景区英文标识语对入境游客的选择偏好影响研究具有积极的现实意义。本文是以入境游客为研究对象,以景区英文标识对入境游客选择偏好的影响研究为主要内容。通过景区英文标识对入境游客选择偏好的影响研究,有利于贵州旅游景区的调整规划,促进贵州旅游市场的扩大和旅游业的发展。景区英文标识对旅游者的旅游行为有很大的指导作用,在一定程度上反映或影响游客的旅游行为。景区英文标识语对入境游客的选择偏好影响研究对扩大旅游市场和开发旅游资源具有重要的指导意义。  相似文献

情绪体验和忠诚度是消费者行为和营销管理研究的重要内容.文章在情绪体验和忠诚度文献梳理基础上,构建了游客情绪体验和忠诚度的结构方程模型,实证研究了入境游客在西安回坊旅游的情绪体验和忠诚度关系,结果显示:①入境游客在西安回坊的情绪体验对其重游意愿、消费意愿没有显著影响;②入境游客在该社区正面强烈情绪体验会导致其重游意愿;③入境游客在该社区内的情绪体验会直接导致其推荐意愿,即正面情绪体验导致正面推荐意愿,负面情绪体验导致负面推荐意愿.文章提出了该研究的未来方向,并特别指出,旅游地发展应更多关注游客负面情绪体验的诱发困素及后续行为,这对旅游地营销实践具有更为重要的指导意义.  相似文献

世界遗产地内是否有必要建设索道等现代化交通工具,是一个富有争议的话题,本文通过游客调查时索道等设施建设是否增加游客满意度的问题进行了实证研究。结果表明:①索道来客群体特征比较明显;②大部分游客时景区内索道等享受型交通工具持欢迎态度,但同时他们也认为索道、电梯等交通工具造成的排队等候增加了景区内拥挤感,影响了游览感受;③游客时索道、电梯等客运交通工具的满意度与游客时目的地总体满意度并无显著线性关系,索道等交通工具建设并不能直接增加游客总体满意度。  相似文献

文章以天门山国家森林公园为例,抓取有效游客评论数据,采用网络文本分析和德尔菲法,创建湖南省天门山景区的游客满意度指标体系,并运用模糊综合评价法分析天门山国家森林公园游客满意度。研究结果显示:游客对于天门山景区的整体满意度一般,对景区环境最为满意,对景区门票价格较不满意。基于此,文章从游客角度出发,找出景区的不足之处,提出相应的优化建议。  相似文献

Based on the increasing popularity of the wellness/spa trend and the growing numbers of inbound tourists to Hong Kong, it is crucial for spa industry experts to understand the ever-changing desires of consumers. The study aims to identify the lifestyle dimensions of international spa visitors to Hong Kong and to profile each segment based on their sociodemographic and travel characteristics. The study adopts a quantitative approach to segmenting international spa visitors in Hong Kong by lifestyle. The results of the lifestyle segmentation revealed five clusters of spa visitors. The segments are “health conscious and intellectual”, “average”, “family focused”, “pleasure oriented”, and “carefree”. It is found that the majority of travelers who visit spas in Hong Kong are health conscious and intellectual. In general, visitors prefer day spas, to visit with their partner or friends, and to enjoy body massage treatments.  相似文献

This paper presents a case study investigating the most salient impressions and unique attractions of Hong Kong, perceived by government officials, inbound visitors and local residents. The study utilizes neural network analytical content analysis as a tool to understand the shared and disparate images and perceptions of the uniqueness of Hong Kong by quantifying the occurrence of open-ended self-reported textual answers by the respondents. The clustering of the answers and perceptual mapping confirms that the stakeholder groups think of Hong Kong as a conventional tourist destination and as a cosmopolitan metropolis. This strong stereotype, which displays an obvious knowledge gap between visitors and residents, as well as inter-group discrepancies, has created obstacles to innovating Hong Kong's image and branding.  相似文献

This study investigates the importance of destination image as a determinant for the choice of a tourist destination. The inbound market examined is Korea while perceptions are captured from current and prospective Russian tourists. Empirical results show that a difference exists between visitors and non-visitors in terms of their perceived image of Korea. The study also finds that the relationship between overall image and loyalty to a destination is statistically significant. Regression results show in particular that Russians with a positive view of Korea are more likely to recommend Korea to others as a tourist destination.  相似文献

Although China has progressively become an important inbound tourism market for Australia, its demand elasticities have been little studied to date. This study examines the determinants of Chinese visitors to Australia using a dynamic time-series estimator. Interesting findings include a high income elasticity as a source of the continuous doubledigit growth rates in Chinese arrivals that Australia has experienced over the past two decades, together with relatively high total trip price elasticities for both short run and long run. A trend of Chinese outbound to Australia is also identified. From a policy perspective, the results confirm that keeping a low cost of visiting Australia, both ground and travel costs, is a good strategy to secure greater numbers of Chinese tourists.  相似文献

Summary

Despite the development and maintenance of effective channel relationships in international tourism markets being critical to a firm's success, little research has been undertaken in business-to-business relationships in cross-national markets (March 1997a; Crotts, Aziz & Raschid 1998). This research paper offers insights into the decision-making behavior of a critical intermediary in international tourism channels, the inbound tour operator (ITO). In an exploratory study, the purchasing attitudes of ITOs, in their functions as purchasers of tourism products on behalf of overseas clients, are examined. Respondents were asked to assess the importance of a number of supplier attributes for three types of tourism products: hotels, coach companies and restaurants. Twenty-six inbound tour operators specialising in the Asian or Japanese inbound markets into Australia were surveyed; though small in number these firms handled over 800,000 visitors to Australia in 1998 (including 82% of the entire Japanese market). The results from a 43-item questionnaire, designed after preliminary discussions with ITOs, reveal differences between the attitudes of Japanese-market and Asian-market ITOs in their purchase decision-making behavior and in buyer attitudes toward different product types. The findings offer useful lessons for suppliers in the management of their relationships with inbound tour operators.  相似文献

The impacts of health crises on tourism demand vary according to the crises’ magnitude, causes, and recoverability. In some cases, the effects of these unexpected incidents have been severe. This study investigates the underlying stability of Hong Kong’s inbound tourism during three phases of health events. Data on 14 market sources for Hong Kong tourism are compared and the results discussed. Specific examinations suggest that travel from India, the U.S., the U.K., Indonesia, and the Philippines are, somewhat, less influenced by health crises in Hong Kong. Men, unmarried travelers, non-working vacationers, and repeat visitors display resilient tendencies. Expenditure tends to decrease during crises, although lengths of stay tend to increase. The inclusion of three types and phases of health crisis events and their effects on inbound travel markets suggest that the impacts of health crisis events differ according to the profile of health crisis. Implications and suggestions for future studies are discussed.  相似文献

This research examined wildlife tourism experiences in a unique site and species combination: giant pandas at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding (CRBGPB) in Sichuan, China. Content analysis was undertaken on tourist reviews of CRBGPB on TripAdvisor.com in early 2012. The thematic analysis qualitative method was adopted in examining respondents' written reviews of experiences interacting with giant pandas. ROST CM6 and NVivo 8 were used for the content analysis and qualitative coding.A variety of tourist experiences, motivations, and preferences were revealed. Although respondents' experiences were varied, satisfaction increased with closer encounters and interactions with the giant pandas. The thematic analysis identified three features of the wildlife tourism experiences at CRBGPB: tourists, giant pandas, and settings. Implications and management recommendations were identified for sites offering wildlife tourism experiences.  相似文献

Knowledge on spatio-temporal changes of inbound tourism flow is important for destination economy, cultural communication and city image. This paper proposes a novel research framework for the spatio-temporal distribution and changes of inbound tourism flow by, first, using R-HDBSCAN clustering algorithm to extract tourism area of interest (AOI), second, by utilizing several key indicators adopted from the complex network theory literature to study the structure of inbound tourism flow with a case study example from Shanghai, China. The results show, first, that tourism in Shanghai is highly concentrated on the most popular AOI clustered in the city center relatively close to each other and, second, that, the inbound tourism flow network of Shanghai has small-world characteristics, while the distribution of its AOI (nodes) and tourist routes (edges) has general power law features, which has been influenced by the World Expo.  相似文献

This paper examines issues relating to the safety of international visitors in tourism destinations using Queensland as a case study. Safety is an important yet often neglected aspect of destination management and failure to implement strategies designed to reduce the level of risk may expose destinations to unfavorable publicity leading to erosion of domestic as well as inbound markets. Rather than take a broad perspective discussing all forms of risk, the paper focuses on motor vehicle accidents and water activities. A simple four‐step model of destination risk identification and management is developed. The paper then focuses on strategies that should be considered by the authorities and individual tourist to reduce risk in motor vehicle accidents and in water sports. The paper concludes with identification of destination risk management as an issue requiring further research.  相似文献

This paper studies how biophysical green resources can become brand dimensions that affect the willingness of non-local people to stay in Hong Kong. Based on the Green (Resource) Brand Hexagon (GBH), the green brand attributes of Hong Kong were tested with two samples: inbound visitors (n = 396) and outsiders, most of whom had not visited Hong Kong (n = 235). The results show that visitors have more diversified determinants than outsiders, with safety, accessibility, and the aesthetic value of parks and landscapes in particular increasing respondents’ willingness to stay in Hong Kong. Outsiders perceive that a pleasant experience in physical spaces is primarily relevant to their willingness to stay in Hong Kong for seeking employment and education. However, green brand attributes play only a small part in the views of both respondent groups, indicating the presence of non-environmental factors in the decision to stay in a city.  相似文献
