Health Belief Model: Evaluating Marketing Promotion in a Public Vaccination Program

National health objectives are driven to increase participation rates. Individual health decisions are determined by attitudes, behavior, lifestyles, and government policies. This research, therefore, examined not just the development and delivery of a message targeting individual voluntary behavior change, but the intention of changes in social structures that will facilitate individuals reaching their potential; thus the purpose of this article is to shed light on the uptake of the human papillomavirus (HPV) immunization using the health belief model (HBM). Research was conducted with the use of focus groups by drawing on the framework of the HBM. This research approach is conceptual by nature, based on the virtue of marketing promotion and on HBM literature. Though offering the vaccine free to the general public provides additional evidence to certain groups on the intention to act or uptake of the vaccine, awareness levels were found to be poor despite increased efforts by the government trying to promote this vaccine. There was evidence that social capital and trust can produce effective communication message strategies that reinforce social bonds. This article provides an interesting basis for further investigation; however, as implausible as it seems the article also contributes to the concept of perceived benefits and of self-efficacy.

单位根检验是协整建模及误差修正分析的基础与前提。单位根检验结果是否可信,直接影响后续的协整建模过程,从而影响变量之间长期的结构均衡关系,以及短期的误差修正机制。事实上,单位根检验对样本异常值点十分敏感,从而容易导致检验结果的不稳定。与现有大多文献中的模拟数据不同,本文以实例给出了这样一个强有力证据：即使是单个异常值点,也可以对单位根检验产生致命的攻击。同时,比较了不同单位根检验方法对异常值点影响的敏感度。最后,建议了一种诊断单位根检验强影响点的预识别方法。     

神经网络在实验室检测工作质量管理及控制中的应用

对实验室检测工作质量中存在的风险因素进行研究,形成风险评价指标体系,并运用BP神经网络建立风险分析评价模型,对风险评价指标进行量化评价,最终获得量化的实验室整体检测工作质量风险数据,为实验室有效管理提供科学决策依据。     

单脉冲雷达天线差斜率测试技术的改进

针对工程应用中单脉冲雷达差斜率简便测试问题,提出了一种正弦波单脉冲差斜率测试方法。推导了将非相参的正弦波信号用于差斜率测试的公式,并将正弦波信号直接用于单脉冲给差斜率测试系统,实现对单脉冲雷达系统参数的快速校正。仿真结果表明,经过该方法校正的单脉冲雷达系统可实现优于0.01??的测角精度。该测试方法能够实现高精度的系统测试性能,对解决工程应用中的测试校正问题具有实际指导意义。

RESEARCH MODELLING IMPLICATIONS OF CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORKS IN FAMILY MANAGEMENT

The development of family management as a field of study has offered, to date, a number of conceptual frameworks which attempt to explain family behaviour with respect to management activities. Historically, the application of these conceptual frameworks has proceeded without orderly empirical testing. This paper attempts to provide guidelines for the empirical testing of these conceptual frameworks by developing a general research model and suggesting empirical testing procedures. The research issues of the unit of analysis, data availability, variable measurement, simultaneity and functional form are discussed. Suggestions for the future direction and the focus of family management research include the development and testing of measurement instruments for the components of the management process and the empirical testing of a general research model which represents the conceptual frameworks in family management.

While there is considerable agreement on the usefulness of concept testing, practitioners disagree on the best way to perform them. In addition to highlighting these disagreements, the paper covers general suggestions for improving concept testing.

We survey the key arguments in favour of such testing, along with the most significant ethical worries.
