本文通过国内外学术界对购物中心理论研究成果的文献综述,分析了国外购物中心的理论研究框架,分别为中心地理论、零售集聚理论、零售需求外部性理论和购物中心价值理论。我国的理论研究集中在对购物中心的界定、购物中心的规模和经营现状、管理和融资、购物中心发展中的问题等方面的研究。我国购物中心的理论研究还有待于进一步深入。  相似文献

电子商务的发展以及同质化现象的加剧使传统商业购物中心受到冲击,而消费者需求呈现多元化趋势,沉浸式体验作为新业态应运而生。本研究立足于武汉市购物中心的发展现状,基于S-O-R理论构建相关概念模型,并引入结构方程模型探究沉浸强度与顾客忠诚的影响路径。研究发现,体验景观对消费者沉浸体验存在显著正向影响,并验证了情感承诺的部分中介效用。并依据此提出相关建议,提升购物中心竞争力。  相似文献

对中国消费者网上购物的动机、决策过程等进行研究,识别影响消费者网上购物的主要因素,有助于促进我国网络购物有序、健康的发展。研究结果表明,城市消费者网络购物意愿受文化程度、网络应用技能、网络购物的安全性等因素的影响比较显著,而消费者的年龄、收入状况、便利性评价等因素影响较弱。  相似文献

Studies on consumer behaviour and the modelling of attributes representing store image of shopping centres in the context of a developed country have been the focus of many researchers. In contrast, although China has the largest consumer market in the world, the consumer behaviour and consumption psychology of this enormous market remain relatively unknown due to a previously “close-door” policy as well as a high degree of government intervention within the retail sector. This paper discusses the unique nature and development of the retail industry in China, and formulates a model to represent the store image of joint venture shopping centres, which are the only approved form of direct foreign investment into China's retail sector. Research on store image of shopping centres in the west as well as in China has been applied in the formulation of the model, which consists of 21 attributes. The relative importance of these 21 shopping centre image attributes is subsequently analysed between consumers in a first-tier and a second-tier city in China. By being the first of its kind to reflect on China's retail market and its joint venture shopping centres, and to compare the consumer behaviour within different levels of cities in China, this paper provides both researchers and retailers with a better insight and understanding into the psychology of Chinese consumers, and the retailing business in China.  相似文献

Shopping centers have received much interest in recent years. This interest comes as many centers have struggled with declining footfall and the demise of many large anchor tenants. The bankruptcy of one anchor tenant has often led shopping centers into a downward spiral from which there is no return. In this paper, we provide an example of how a shopping center can develop sustainably in the transforming retailscape. Our findings highlight the role of the shopping center management in the success of contemporary shopping centers, particularly in crafting a tenant mix in which each tenant has a role to play.  相似文献

China is rapidly becoming an important market for consumer goods, but relatively little is known about variations in consumer shopping patterns in different regions of China. We employ a cultural materialism perspective in understanding decision-making styles of inland and coastal shoppers. Our findings reveal that consumers in the two regional markets do not differ in utilitarian shopping styles but they do in hedonic shopping styles. Marketers need to understand these differences to be able to market effectively to consumers in different regional markets within China.  相似文献

While previous studies indicate that female consumers display less trust for online shopping than males do, there is little research to addresses the reasons behind this difference. Our study applies a combination of both self‐report and the Implicit Association Test (IAT) to compare the cognitive and affective components of attitudes in men and women toward online shopping in China. Although female participants showed no significant difference from male participants in affective attitudes toward online shopping in the self‐report condition, females associated online shopping more frequently with unpleasant adjectives and off‐line shopping with pleasant adjectives in the indirect IAT condition. The opposite pattern was found for the male group. This finding indicates a wanting but disliking attitude toward online shopping among the female consumers in China, which provides a unique theoretical contribution to consumer behavior theory and helps to enhance e‐marketers’ market targeting and segmentation effectiveness in China.  相似文献

It is imperative for mall operators in China to gain insights into consumer shopping behaviours that will allow them to further develop their mall personalities, in order to better differentiate themselves from the competition. The overarching objective of the present study was two-fold: to increase our understanding about contemporary Chinese shoppers; and to examine the relationships among mall personality, fashion orientation, shopping value and mall patronage intention. This study presents the results of a research survey conducted in Wuhan, China. Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS SEM) was used to analyze the survey responses from 324 shopping mall patrons. The findings indicate that consumers' fashion orientation has a significant influence based on their perception of the shopping mall personality. The path model analysis revealed that consumers' perception of shopping value had the strongest effect on their shopping intentions at the mall.  相似文献

Global electronic commerce (ecommerce) development is growing exponentially, especially in the business-to-consumer (B2C) field. Consumers in the Asia-Pacific region have spent more on ecommerce purchases in 2014 than consumers in North America, making them the largest regional ecommerce market in the world. Singles’ Day on November 11 (also known as Double 11 Day or Chinese National Ecommerce Day) is the most successful online shopping day in China. What drives the success of Singles’ Day? We conducted in-depth interviews with Alibaba senior managers, observed the progress of Singles’ Day, and investigated this issue. We find that over the past six years, Alibaba has successfully implemented five critical strategies associated with value activities from identifying merchants and pricing, marketing and sales, payments, and outbound logistics. Along with these strategies, Alibaba has created a synergistic IT platform to connect consumers, merchants, and service providers through identifying merchants and pricing, marketing and sales, payments, and outbound logistics to facilitate value creation by increasing efficiency in their value activities and expanding the market base. These successes have driven the interest of Chinese consumers to its annual shopping carnival on Singles’ Day, changing consumer shopping from traditional stores to online sites and creating the miracle of the Chinese National Ecommerce Day.  相似文献
