GOLF球道中的打球礼仪

球道中的礼仪与发球台相似,但是由于落球点不同,同组球员已经分散到球道中不同的地方做击球准备,因此球道中的秩序更显重要。在球道中,通常情况下应由距离球洞最远的球员先击球。当然如果同组球员事先商量好,也可以打Ready Golf,就是由准备好的球员先击球。需要强调的是,在击球之前一定要确定同组其他球员的位置,判断究竟应由谁来击球,同时还须确保自己击出的球不会伤到在球道上等待击球以及正在找球的同伴。     

Entrepreneurship,College, and Credit: The Golden Triangle

We develop a model to evaluate the aggregate impact of college finance in an environment with entrepreneurship. The calibrated model captures the stylized fact that entrepreneurs with college are more common and more profitable in the United States. The calibration indicates this is mainly because higher labor earnings allow college‐educated agents to ameliorate credit constraints if and when they eventually become entrepreneurs. Changes in financing constraints on entrepreneurs can thus affect college attendance, and changes in financing constraints on college can affect entrepreneurship rates as well.

Golf courses and residential house prices: An empirical examination

The importance of location is well known in the literature on real estate valuation. Our study extends this body of literature by being the first to examine empirically the effect on the selling price of single-family residential properties when they abut a golf course. We determine the incremental effect on the sales price of houses on the golf course by fitting a standard hedonic pricing model to a sample of 717 sales transactions drawn from a sub-urban area of a large city. We employ a matched-pair research design to hold constant the price effects of other location factors on these golf course properties. Our results indicate that a golf course location adds 7.6 percent to a property's sales price. We believe this finding is of interest to developers in their design of a golf course subdivision and to appraisers who wish to make location-specific value adjustments of golf course properties.

Building a knowledge-based society: The case of South East Europe

Dangers, threats and challenges facing South East European countries are analyzed in the context of the salient features of the contemporary world and of the development program of the European Union (EU). This analysis leads to the conclusion that building a knowledge-based society is an imperative for each country. A roadmap of tasks to be done during the next few decades is outlined.
