2008年的房地产业一片哀鸿遍野,谁手里的现金多谁就是大爷,潘石屹显然也是大爷中的一位。很多人都说他是最侥幸的开发商,确实如此。2007年的成功上市以及屡次拿地的失败,造就老潘坐拥150亿现金安度漫漫寒冬。所以,面对众多找上门来的好项目,老潘很有底气地宣称,现在是SOH0中国发展百年不遇的好机会。

一个月前刚刚在港上市的SOH0中国有限公司11月6日发布公告，称公司以24．4亿元人民币完成了对北京CBD两处物业的收购。这是SOHO中国上市后首次添置物业。这两处物业分别位于北京光华路和燕莎地区，现已被命名为光华路SOH0^2和SOH0北京公馆。其中，光路SOHO^2为商业及零售综合项目，地面建筑面积约12．8万平方米，预期该项目将于2010年完成，并于明年底开始预售。而SOH0北京公馆为高档公寓住宅项目，预期有关工程将于明年第三季度完成，并将于今年底或明年初开始预售。

Alliance Management: A View from the Past and a Look to the Future

The literature on strategic alliances has focused mainly on issues related to alliance formation and the reasons why firms form these partnerships. Yet the large number of failures would suggest that there exists a gap between an understanding of alliance formation and the practice of alliance management. The purpose of this paper is to narrow that gap. We begin with a review of the extant state-of-knowledge and then discuss areas in which further insight can be gained. More specifically, the remainder of the paper focuses on issues related to managing alliances over time and the role of the alliance manager, a linch-pin in the alliance management process.

人民币现实均衡汇率的历史轨迹与未来走势——基于一般均衡框架下多方程结构模型的分析

在各种均衡汇率模型中,一般均衡框架下的多方程结构模型具有比较优势。将该模型运用于人民币兑美元名义汇率分析显示,1994年以来,人民币保持基本均衡状态下的升值趋势,这种趋势仍将随着中国经济的持续快速增长而延续。但短期来看升值速度与货币当局干预强度反向相关。基于我国目前产出的汇率预期弹性大于利率预期弹性的现实,为避免升值对我国经济造成负面冲击,适度干预是必要的,同时也要通过恰当的外贸及资本管制政策来缓解升值压力,并为减少干预创造条件。     

Transferability and Naturalistic Generalization: New Generalizability Concepts for Social Science or Old Wine in New Bottles?

Interpretative qualitative social science has attempted to distinguish itself from quantitative social science by rejecting traditional or ‘received’ notions of generalization. Traditional concepts of scientific generalization it is claimed are based on a misguided objectivism as to the mechanisms operating in the social world, and particularly the ability of statements to capture such mechanisms in any abstract sense. Instead they propose new versions of the generalizability concept e.g. ‘transferability’, which relies on the context dependent judgement of ‘fit’ between two or more cases instances made by a researcher. This paper argues that the transferability concept, as outlined and argued by interpretativist methodologists, is thoroughly coextensive with notions of generalizability formalized for natural science and naturalistic social science by philosophers and methodologists of science. Therefore, it may be concluded that the interpretativist claim to a break with received scientific traditions is a premature one, at least with regard to the issue of generalization.     

Looking for God,meaning, physical fitness and beyond: the religious and spiritual space in sport entrepreneurship

Over the past several years, both academic literature and the popular press have heralded a renewed interest in religion and spirituality in both entrepreneurship and sport disciplines. The search for God, meaning, and other expressions of religiosity and spirituality tends to appear embedded in a wider variety of cultural forms in the Western world, including enterprise and sport cultures. Notwithstanding the increasing awareness of the mutual impacts of religion and spirituality in the entrepreneurship and sports academic fields, attention to these topics is lacking within the sport entrepreneurship literature. In this conceptual paper, sport entrepreneurship is re-thought from its religious and spiritual dimensions, paying special attention to the fitness sector, specifically to activities related to so-called “slow fitness”. Utilizing existential philosophy from Paul Ricoeur as our theoretical framework, we reflect on this part of the fitness industry to understand the religious and spiritual space in sport entrepreneurship. In this sense, the paper provides other elements to introduce into discussions of what defines this emergent academic area.
